The Iran War

Thank God we have a President with a brain, a clear global vision and the courage to act decisively to safeguard it. The assault on Iran solidifies the Trump Doctrine: If negotiations fail, the President will use tailored, overwhelming force to achieve long-term peace and other strategic goals.

Every past president since Bill Clinton, Republican and Democrat alike, has declared that Iran couldn’t be permitted to develop nuclear weapons. Not one acted to prevent it. Every president since Ronald Reagan has condemned Iran’s role in terrorism against American citizens, interests and allies. Not one acted to stop it. Instead, each president left his successor with a more dangerous Iran and a more complicated threat to address.

In addition to finally addressing Iran’s nuclear and global terror threats, the Iranian strikes have dealt 3 big blows to China’s global ambitions. First, China’s Iranian counterweight is gone. A defiant Tehran kept Washington pinned down in the Gulf.

Second, Xi’s “story” — that America is a declining power incapable of decisive force projection — has been debunked. While 1.4 billion people may not know it yet, the senior officials who matter – senior military planners and foreign policy professionals – are fully aware.

Finally, China’s access to cheap energy has ended. China bought 1.38 million barrels per day of Iranian oil in 2025 and more than half of their total oil imports pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

Equally important, the American/Israeli strikes on Iran will severely impact Hamas and Hezbollah. Iran’s role as the world’s foremost sponsor of terrorism has ended.

The pundits can argue forever about why now and whether or not the MAGA base has been betrayed by our entering a foreign war. Tucker Carlson and others can continue to shill that Israel led the US into the war. In the meantime, President Trump and War Secretary Pete Hegseth will continue their mission of protecting American interests and making the world a safer place.
