It has been disappointing and dispiriting to see “experts” on the right sink to the tired leftist tactics of labeling and hate mongering with allegations that antisemites have taken over the American right. This is a recurring theme lately whose sole aim is to divide MAGA.
According to Dominic Green (WSJ 10/31/25 – “The MAGA Right’s Antisemitism Problem”), “the right has a racism problem.” He describes Tucker Carlson as a freak more interested in the spotlight than serious debate. He smears Kevin Roberts, President of the Heritage Foundation, for standing by Mr. Carlson and Vice President JD Vance for ‘failing to draw a clear line’ against antisemitism at a TPUSA event at Ole Miss.
The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board joins the fray on 11/2/25 with “The New Right’s New Antisemites,” ominously warning “An old political poison is growing on the new right, led by podcasters and internet opportunists who are preoccupied with the Jews.”
Douglas Murray has anointed himself arbiter of who is or isn’t a conservative and friend of Charlie Kirk and JD Vance. (WSJ 11/3/25 – “Conspiracy kook Tucker Carlson is no conservative and no friend to Charlie Kirk and JD Vance”)
Ben Shapiro (WSJ 11/4/25) goes apoplectic about Tucker Carlson hosting Nick Fuentes and denigrates Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts for refusing to throw Tucker under the bus.
Barton Swain (WSJ 11/6/25) calls Tucker Carlson a crank and a reviler of Israel. He was “oddly encouraged by an opinion piece last month in the New York Times darkly alleging that antisemites have taken over the American right.” He criticizes Megyn Kelly for refusing to ‘abominate Mr. Carlson’ – whatever that means.
I think most of us would agree with Mr. Roberts’ views on Nick Fuentes: “I disagree with—and even abhor—things that Nick Fuentes says, but canceling him is not the answer either. When we disagree with a person’s thoughts and opinions, we challenge those ideas in debate.”
More significantly, we would undoubtedly support Roberts’ statement that “I want to be clear about one thing: Christians can critique the state of Israel without being antisemitic.”
Neither Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Greene nor we the little people of MAGA are antisemites for questioning unconditional US financial support for Bibi Netanyahu and Israel. An estimated 68,000 Palestinian civilians have been killed by the IDF since 10/7/23. I am not OK with that.
It is absolutely OK to ask questions and to keep bringing the focus back to “America FIRST!”
