Pot is Not Harmless

Today, more people smoke pot than drink alcohol daily.  The marijuana that we smoked in decades past generally had 3% to 5% THC. Today’s products contain as much as 90% THC. It’s estimated that 20% to 30% of daily pot smokers are addicted.

Marijuana is particularly dangerous for teens. Even very low-level use is linked to increased risk of psychiatric disorders like psychosis, bipolar disorder, depression and anxiety.

Regular use of pot during teen years is associated with disruption in memory and learning. One study found that daily users who started during adolescence lost several IQ points between the ages of 13 and 30.

Marijuana is NOT a harmless recreational drug. Educate yourself and your kids before it’s too late.
